Morpheus8 vs. FaceTite: Which Treatment is Right for You?

With the range of facial treatments available today, it can be challenging to choose the right one, especially with the advancements in anti-aging and skin-tightening options. Among the most popular choices are Morpheus8 and FaceTite, both highly effective treatments created by InMode. Here’s a closer look at these two options and how they differ to help you make an informed decision.

What Is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is an FDA-approved, non-invasive skin resurfacing and tightening treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy. Delivered through tiny microneedling pricks, this procedure stimulates collagen production, smoothing and tightening skin on the face and body. Morpheus8 is ideal for addressing issues like uneven texture, fine lines, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and sagging skin.

Typically, 2-4 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart offer the best results, and the skin-tightening effects can last 2-5 years.

What Is FaceTite?

FaceTite is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment targeting sagging skin and wrinkles, especially in the lower face. Using RFAL (radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis), FaceTite removes excess fat and stimulates collagen production to lift and tighten skin. Small incisions allow a device to deliver radiofrequency waves, liquefying fat cells, which are then suctioned out.

This semi-invasive procedure requires a day or two of downtime. Results develop over a few months and can last for several years after just one treatment.

Key Differences Between Morpheus8 and FaceTite

The main difference is that Morpheus8 is an external treatment, while FaceTite works internally. Both use radiofrequency technology, but their methods and tools differ.

After Morpheus8, you may feel like you have a mild sunburn with some skin peeling for about three days. You’ll need to keep the skin moisturized and can wear makeup two days post-treatment. Always apply sunscreen to protect your skin during recovery.

After FaceTite, plan for someone to drive you home, and avoid touching your face or using strong skincare products until healed. Avoid smoking or alcohol to prevent complications and promote faster recovery.

Which Treatment Is Right for You?

Choosing between Morpheus8 and FaceTite depends on your skin goals. If you want overall skin rejuvenation and smoother texture, Morpheus8 may be the best option. If you’re primarily focused on skin tightening and lifting in specific areas, FaceTite could be the ideal choice. Many patients choose Morpheus8 to prime their skin for more intensive procedures or achieve noticeable improvements without surgery.
